The new EU Innovation Action Plan, which has been in the works for the past several months at DG Enterprise and the Commission more widely will not be ready for the Spring as had been expected. It will focus on many of the issues GRIPS has researched over the past three years.

The Nintendo Wii has gotten a lot of attention for its cross cutting innovation and multi purpose utility - and here is yet another exmaple. The Wii balance board is found to be as effective as a formerly out-of-reach expensive medical device.
